It was just a great match for a cursory stop in Spiddal with outstanding value for money. The bar had a nice, cozy vibe that made it feel inviting. Keep an eye on the check-in times for a smoother arrival.

Solo traveler find it relaxing
The young girl at the bar, John’s daughter I think, was so friendly, even though she fumbled with drink orders. But they had a local ale that was really smooth, changed my mind about craft beers.
It wasn’t exactly cheap for what you get but the experience was worth it.

missingWrote a review on Oct 23local vibegood mealsdated rooms
Interesting local vibe found in the dining area with some good meal options.
The quality of the rooms lacks modernity, feeling very dated with worn bathrooms and unclean extract fans. Breakfast choices are also limited and basic compared to other establishments. Additionally, the bar area feels uncomfortable, resembling more of a canteen, leading to a swift retreat to more inviting locales.

Cruiscin Lan provided a cozy setting with a lovely view of the harbor. The full Irish breakfast hit the spot, setting us up nicely for a day of exploring. Our room in the Double Room with Private Bathroom was clean, though it felt dated and could use some modern updates. The bathroom amenities were satisfactory, but a bit more attention to detail would make a difference. Service was generally friendly, though I did find breakfast service to be a bit slow. It's great being just a short walk from the beach and the local craft market, making it an excellent base for our stay. I appreciated that there were tea and coffee facilities available in the room. Some areas could use improvement, particularly regarding the decor and bathroom cleanliness, which felt more like a 1980s throwback than a contemporary stay. Still, the warmth of the local vibe and the nice breakfast made it a memorable experience.

I had a cozy stay with a great double room, and the breakfast was fantastic, but the dinner didn't live up to expectations with lukewarm dishes, and the view was slightly different than I hoped.

The room felt cozy, but the bed was a bit small for two. Honestly, the view was just okay, looking out towards a roof area. The bathroom was clean, but some things felt a bit dated. On the plus side, the place was spotless, which I really appreciated, and I found the staff at breakfast to be really friendly and helpful.
